Natalie's Score: 88/100

Pure green apple vibrancy and intensity of flavour with mouth-awakening acidity. Medium-bodied and fresh. This Burgundian white wine made in the Village appellation of Auxerrois is unusually made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape, which is lesser known than Chardonnay and far fewer wines are made from it in Burgundy. It nonetheless is superb. Enjoy with fresh oysters.

Food pairings: poached seafood.

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Go figure - a Burgundian Sauvignon Blanc? Unusual yes, but this is a very nice value white wine. Pale lemon colour and light-bodied with citrus, green apple, tomato leaf, and a note of cattiness. Zippy acidity. Nice price performer at $15.
Tasted: June 2015
The Burgundian region of Saint-Bris is the only appellation in the wine district permitted to plant and make wines from the Sauvignon Blanc grape. Pair with fresh water fish dishes. - Community Wine Reviews
