A solid Californian Cabernet that's full-bodied with classic blackberry and cassis aromas, and just enough toasty oak. Polished tannins, good balance. Finishes with attractive wood smoke and black fruit. Pair it with a pepper steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: hearty meat dishes, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A Napa Cab Sauv with lovely aromas of strawberries, blueberries and mint, repeated on palate with vanilla, touches of cedar and bell pepper. Food-friendly acidity and great texture make this a very enjoyable Cab.
Tasted Feb. 2017
This robust Californian Cabernet is from the winery's Small Lot Reserve collection. Made by third generation winemakers, Jay and Chris Indelicato, this red wine is made in small lots for careful vinification and the best expression this grape can give and consistently gives from this vineyard. lots of ripe black fruit and mocha notes on this wine. - Community Wine Reviews
