Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is one sexy Chardonnay! Aromas of buttered toast, barbecued pineapple and vanilla carry through in the mouth with a lovely lingering red apple crispness. Perfect on its own or with hard ripened cheese.
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous straw colour. Nose of butter and citrus. Full mouth feel with long finish of lemon and other citrus.
Tasted April 3/16
Shelley Harris rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A smooth medium-bodied wine with aromas of peaches and hints of vanilla, is followed by buttery tastes of lemons and peaches. I would serve this wine with a fettuccini Alfredo where a creamy white sauce with flavours of pepper and garlic would complement it well.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From Ontario's Short Hills Bench, a Chardonnay with a fresh nose of white tree fruit, buttered toast and vanilla. Apple, pear, tropical pineapple, guava and lime on the palate. Medium to full-bodied, with a long tropical fruit finish.
Trevor Sabourin - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of yellow apple, peach, lemon, smoke, vanilla, cream, and biscuit. On the palate there is lots of fresh yellow apple, stone fruit, and lemon, with hints of nutmeg, cream, and smoke. Medium-full bodied, with medium-high acidity keeping the wine balanced, vibrant and fresh. Very good length, finishing with peach, vanilla, and cream.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Slight tinge of peach in colour; vanilla, cream, lemon curd, nutmeg. Long smokey oak finish.

Pair with wild mushroom and cream pasta, with some bitter greens.
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale yellow gold. Attractive peach, citrus, subtly buttery nose. Lively, rounded and rich on the palate, with soft, crême brulée oak notes on the finish. Moderately complex and persistence.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

The 2014 vintage is 100% Chardonnay and 13.5% ABV from the Niagara short hills bench VQA, pale straw with green hue. This wine will be released April 16, 2016. Tasted Nov 2015. Crisp and tart mouthwatering acidity, this wine has aromatics of candied lemon, grapefruit and a hint of thyme. Long finish with persistence of kafir lime leaf, green pineapple and minerality. Enjoy now.
Melissa Pulvermacher reviewed this wine as follows:

The grapes are hand-picked with 60% of the juice then being fermented in French and American oak with 15 months’ age. The mid palate weight brings a real elegance to this wine. Oak is not the main component, but rather a complement to the cool climate acidity and minerality prevailing through on this wine. Delicious Chardonnay.
