Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Henry of Pelham has another notch on it's belt. This Niagara Riesling is beautiful from start to finish. A delicate pale lemon colour with aromas familiar to Niagara Riesling connoisseurs. Ripe Niagara tree fruit, pink and white blossoms, honey, honeycomb and petrol. The palate is light and refreshing with notes of lemon-lime, zest, white peach and Escarpment minerality. Pair all of this with the $18 price tag and it's a winner. This will be my apres Sunday long run thirst quencher. Try with English beer battered fish or Asian Fusion dishes. Serve well chilled.

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A Riesling that goes straight to the point! Bone dry, honey, peach, vinyl, and citrus aromas and flavours; with puckering acidity for days and a crisp finish. This Reisling speaks volumes of what the Niagara Escarpment can produce. Overall, just a fine expression of dry Reislings that can match any other terroir.

Step out of your comfort zone a bit and pair with sashimi/sushi.

Big aromas of petrol and white flowers up front with an enticing minerality. Slightly off-dry with a round mouth feel and tastes of crisp yellow apple, apricot, and pear. A perfect wine for a spicy chicken stir-fry.

Smells like a basket of summer. Aromas of peaches, petrol and apple on the nose of this very fragrant Riesling. Off-dry and light with mouth-watering acidity. Flavourful and perfect for sipping for summer or some spicy Thai food.
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A somewhat classic nose, with hints of petroleum and cheese mingled with apple notes.Soft and fresh mouth, with a long finish.Pork tenderloin, sushis and coconut milk curries, come to mind for pairings.

Clear yellow/green color.

Aromas of honey, petrol, mineral and white flower.

This wine is crisp, soft and medium on the palate.

Try it with white fish.

Serve it at 8-10 degrees.

Ready to drink.
Lovely Ontario Riesling at a terrific price! This would pair beautifully with roast turkey. - Community Wine Reviews
