An off-dry mouth-watering and crisp Riesling with white-fleshed stone fruit, grapefruit and lime zest flavours. Produced from vines planted in 1984. Delicious and versatile. Pair with turkey burgers or fish tacos.

Riesling food pairings: smoked salmon and chive cream cheese on baguette, oyster hotpot, mild curries.

Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Lively floral, mandarin orange syrup, chalk dust, subtle petrol and pretty flint aromas surfaced from my glass. All mingled nicely with citrusy flavours and moderate touch acidity on this creation’s mouth coating light to medium frame. Off dry, crafted in Ontario’s Short Hill Bench appellation and ready to be poured with BBQ salmon brushed with dijon and honey. Enjoy.

From the Niagara Escarpment wine region, Henry Of Pelham Estate 2019 Riesling is produced from their certified-sustainable winery on the Short Hills Bench. Fragrant with orange blossom, grapefruit zest and blanched almond aromas, medium-bodied, off-dry and elegant on the palate with ripe peach, pear, lemongrass, grapefruit zest flavours and a briny mineral finish. Pair this food-friendly wine with a roast pork and mild vegetarian curries. - Community Wine Reviews
