Natalie's Score: 91/100

Gorgeous richness and depth of flavour in this southern French red wine. Black cherry liqueur aromas, though the wine itself is dry. The robust red wine is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes with no Carignan, so it is a dried style than Gerard Bertrand's Minervois red wine blend. This one is layered and luscious with deep, rich, dark fruit flavours and a satisfying full-bodied weight.

Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre food pairings: feta cheese stuffed sirloin burger.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a delightful and satisfying GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre) blend from the Corbieres,Languedoc. Typicity reigns here as we have the jammy red/black fruit of Grenache mulled with the black pepper and baking spices of Syrah and delicate perfume of Mourvedre. Violets, vanilla, cassis and baked plums engage in this rich full-bodied, smooth, big red wine. Enjoy with finer cuts of red meats. Great value at $17.
Tasted: August 2016
From Languedoc's Corbières region this robust red wine is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes. The wine is deep and dark with luscious fruit. Aged 12 months in 30% new oak, tertiary flavours of chocolate and smoked meat complete the wine. Great value. Drink with or without meal, but drink it. - Community Wine Reviews
