Gérard Bertrand 2018 Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre is a full-bodied and silky GSM from the Corbières, Languedoc wine region. Supple and smooth on the palate with ripe dark fruit, blueberry, plum, cedar brush and smoky pepper spice flavours vibrant on the palate. Drinking beautiful now, but could easily cellar for two- three years. Enjoy with a sausage and bean casserole.

Grenache Syrah Mourvèdre food pairings: meat lover's pizza, chicken mole, roast duck.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful and robust GSM blend, from a consistently great producer, and at a great value. Aromas of blueberry and blackberry, with notes of graphite, smoke and spice. Full bodied on the palate, smooth with medium tannins and medium acidity, with rich, dark berry notes and hints of oak and smoke on the finish. Enjoy with a prime rib roast or rich mushroom dishes.
From the Corbières, Languedoc wine region, Gérard Bertrand 2018 is a full-bodied, silky GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre) blend, rich with dark berry, plum, cedar brush, smoky pepper and well-integrated toasty oak spice flavours. Acidity is in balance and tannins are medium. Drink or hold. - Community Wine Reviews
