Faust 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from grapes sourced from the Huneeus’s Family vineyards in Rutherford and Coombsville. Soils here are gravelly, loamy sand, volcanic and marine sediment best suited to Cabernet Sauvignon. Fragrant, rich and full-bodied with ripe blackberry, black currant, sous bois, cedar brush spice and nutty flavours on the palate, the wine is framed by firm, grippy tannins. The wine could spend some time in cellar to show its very best. Try it in 2026 with a Tomahawk chop form the grill and enjoy it through 2035.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled lamb chops, Asian chicken salad, pork tenderloin.

Faust 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from grapes sourced from the Huneeus’s Family vineyards in Rutherford and Coombsville. Soils here are gravelly, loamy sand, volcanic and marine sediment best suited to Cabernet Sauvignon. Fragrant with black currant, cassis, sous bois, cedar brush spice and nutty flavours on the palate, the wine is full-bodied and framed by firm, fine-grained tannins. Good now, better in 2026 as tannins tame and as the wine continues to evolve in bottle. Enjoy it with a Tomahawk chop from the grill through 2035. - Community Wine Reviews
