Faust 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from grapes sourced from the Huneeus’s Family vineyards in Rutherford and Coombsville. Soils here are gravelly, loamy sand, volcanic and marine sediment best suited to Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich on the nose and palate, the wine is dry, medium-bodied and generous with ripe blackberry, black currant, dark spices, earthy and flinty mineral undertones long and deep on the palate.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled lamb chops, Asian chicken salad, pork tenderloin.

Faust 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is produced from grapes sourced from the Huneeus’s Family vineyards in Rutherford and Coombsville. Soils here are gravelly, loamy sand, volcanic, marine sediment and best suited to this grape. Look for rich cassis, dried tobacco, black currant, spicy and fresh earthy loamy flavours on the palate finishing long on a mineral note. Tannins are pleasantly chewy. Drink or hold to 2030. - Community Wine Reviews
