Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

From Ontario's Niagara Peninsula appellation, this pinot noir offers enticing aromas of red cherry, blackberry, coffee and smoke. Ruby in colour and medium bodied, it presents attractive notes of cherry, strawberry and cedar on the palate. Need a gift for a fan of pinot noir? Consider giving them this.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A delicious Pinot Noir from the master. A blast of raspberry and cherry, hint of earthy roasted beets, juicy acidity, silky tannins and a nice long finish. Off to get a few, or a case, or a truckload... :) Enjoy with a balsamic-glazed wild salmon dish. Tasted April 2019
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Taste of Ontario 2019 @ Ottawa: Fruity , dry wine with significant tannin and acidity. The aroma is earthy and the wine tastes of spice, black pepper, ripe red fruit with a mineral streak. This wine is wild ferment (wild or indigenous yeast) and it is well worth drinking!
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

On the nose, Montmorency cherry, juicy plum, field strawberry, earthy beets and hints of black peppercorn.

On the palate, an easy drinking type of Pinot Noir with silky tannins, tart cherry flavours with a touch of smoke and a black pepper finish.

Tasted at the Taste Ontario event in April 2019.
