From Prince Edward County, Ontario wine region, Closson Chase Vineyard 2021 Pinot Noir is a vegan-friendly, unfiltered PN; dry, medium bodied, bright and elegant with aromas of pink florals, ripe cherry, strawberry, savoury herbs, earthy and mineral notes velvety on the palate. The wine was aged 18 months in French oak barrels (5% new). This is a delicious and harmonious PN crafted from grapes grown in Closson Chase’s Churchside and South Clos estate vineyards. Enjoy with grilled duck breast and cherry coulis or a wild mushroom bisque. Drink or hold.

Pinot Noir food pairings: braised veal chops in red wine, slow-cooked lamb shanks, roast chicken.

Closson Chase Vineyard 2021 Pinot Noir is a vegan-friendly, unfiltered PN. A hue of pale garnet in the glass with tart cherry, red berry, toasty oak spice and vanilla aromas and flavours fresh on the palate. Tannins are fine-grained and velvety. Lovely now and ready to enjoy, lightly chilled on its own or with grilled chicken dishes. - Community Wine Reviews.
