From Prince Edward County wine region, a medium-bodied, vibrant and smooth Pinot Noir with a mouthful of red plum, bright cherry, mocha, white pepper and earthy notes finishing with characteristic county minerality. Very expressive of its terroir.

Pinot Noir food pairings: planked salmon, braised veal chops in red wine, slow-cooked lamb shanks.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Classic County Pinot. Aromas of red cherry, cranberry, earth, leather, and stony mineral hints. Medium bodied with light, soft tannins, bright acidity, and vibrant cranberry and cherry notes on the palate, along with more mineral hints on the finish. Pair with roasted rack of lamb or any rusitc mushroom dish.
Closson Chase Closson Chase Vineyard 2017 Pinot Noir is a dry, medium-bodied, earthy and spicy Pinot Noir from the PEC wine region. Expressive with bright cherry, wild mushroom, wild herb and spicy flavours generous and vibrant on the palate. This is great PN! Nicely done. Pair with a wild mushroom bisque. - Community Wine Reviews
