Château de Beaucastel 2016 is a classic Châteauneuf-Du-Pape from the Rhône wine region. This vintage being more spectacular than the last with a medium-plus-bodied red wine blend of 35% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 10% Counoise, 5% Cinsault and 10% other varieties. Liquid cherry, black and blue berries with cake spice and savoury dried herb flavours. What a beauty now and for the next 15 years. Pair with a prime rib roast beef. - Community Wine Reviews
