Reviews and Ratings

Rob rated this wine as 96/100 with the following review:

Fantastic. If you want to drink it now, like I did, decant for 3-4 hours to really experience all that it offers. Otherwise wait 5-10 years
Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Château de Beaucastel is a family-owned winery that dates back to the 16th century. This Old World style CDP is loaded with appealing dark fruits – blueberry and black currant – black tea, coffee, and wood. With good structure and elegant tannins, there’s no need for decanting this medium- to full-bodied wine, it’s ready to drink. This is an example of great blending that produced a stunner. It is on the higher end price-wise, but absolutely worth it!
From the Famille Perrin Château de Beaucastel (2015) is a Châteauneuf-Du-Pape from the Rhône wine region. Look for black cherry and blackberry liqueur on this a dry, rich and warm Rhône red with smooth tannins. Château de Beaucastel have been creating wines with elegance and finesse in Châteauneuf du Pape, between Orange and Avignonin for over 50 years. The 70-hectare vineyard is located at the most terroir at the most northern limit of Châteauneuf du Pape and is exposed to the Mistral wind. All thirteen varieties of the appellation have been organically grown since the sixties. - Community Wine Reviews
