Produced by Garcés Silva, Boya 2020 Sauvignon Blanc is made from sustainably-grown wine grapes from 13 year old vines in the Leyda Valley. Boya Vineyards are influenced by the Pacific Ocean's moderating and cooling breezes bringing cool temperatures and allowing grapes to slowly ripen and develop character. These cooling breezes also bring a salty tang to the grapes. Flinty, briny and herbal on the nose, you just know this wine is going to have amazing acidity. And it does, along with fresh ripe peach, fine herbs, citrus zest and briny mineral flavours on the palate. So refreshing now and great value under $15. Chill and enjoy.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: grilled halibut steaks, lemon sole in white sauce, tuna burgers.

Reviews and Ratings

From Garcés Silva, Boya 2020 Sauvignon Blanc is excellent value under $15. Produced from sustainably-grown grapes from the Coast Zone, Leyda Valley, Boya Vineyards are influenced by the Pacific Ocean's moderating and cooling breezes bringing cool temperatures and allowing grapes to slowly ripen and fully develop. These cooling breezes also bring a salty tang to the grapes. Look for flinty, briny and herbal aromas on the nose; dry, medium-bodied with fresh stone fruit, fine herb, briny and mineral flavours matched with vibrant acidity with a long finish on the palate. Chill and enjoy it in all of its freshness with seafood dishes. - Community Wine Reviews
