A towering, blockbuster of a wine that could use some serious cellar time. Full-bodied, layered and complex with aromas of dark fruit and smoke. Perfect for hearty meat dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A stunning blend of 46% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 18% Cabernet Franc, each year the blend is tweaked for an optimal blend. Aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and raspberry along with notes of cedar, eucalyptus, leather, graphite, cigar smoke ,and warm spicy hints. Full bodied on the palate, with smooth velvety tannins, bright acidity, and lots of juicy blackberry on the palate. There is a nice mix of dried herbal spices, graphite, and leather hints on a lengthy finish. Enjoy with a well-marbled steak.
