Beautifully balanced and elegant Niagara Chardonnay from a master winemaker and vine whisperer. Round and rich, but not too much oak. This wine was aged for 18 months in oak barrels.

Chardonnay food pairings: tuna steaks, swordfish, turkey dinner, beef, chicken breast.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Buttery oaked vanilla. Golden and brilliant in the bowl. A wonderful vintage. Supple and mouthwatering. Full bodied. Well balanced. Integrated 13% ABV alcohol and aromatics. Long finish with persistence of crisp Apple and blood orange. Pairs well with grilled jumbo prawns, roast turkey dinner, BBQ chicken. Tasted April 2017. Marvellous Chardonnay. 90 points.
Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This medium-bodied chardonnay has a beautiful oaky aroma, with a complex flavour profile. I kept getting rose water and orange flower. Lovely! Tasted March 2016.

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Fresh citrus fruit galore! Lemon, grapefruit and yellow delicious apple hit the high notes for fruit concentration. This wine carries a nice tangy acidity and a long mouthwatering finish. Enjoy with grilled shellfish. Tasted at Taste Ontario Ottawa 2016 and again in April 2017.
