Castello Della Cervaro Della Sala, Marchesi Antinori Chardonnay Grechetto 2008, I.G.T., Umbria, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Antinori’s family estate in Umbria is Castello della Sala. There, they produce wines such as this fine white, which is an oak-aged blend of Chardonnay and Grechetto. Lovely aromas of yellow plum, spring flowers and woodsmoke are front and centre. This dry, lithe, well-made and impeccably balanced wine is drinking beautifully now or enjoy it over the next 5+ years. Kim Crawford Unoaked Chardonnay 2013, Marlborough, Hawke's Bay, East Coast, New Zealand: Fresh and crisp with no oak. Citrus character from Hawke's Bay combines with tropical fruit from Marlborough. Malolactic fermentation with 7 months on the lees to impart richness and creaminess: gives the impression of oak without the heaviness. Butterscotch notes but still ultra-fresh fruit.  Refute the notion of ABC (Anything But Chardonnay), a movement started against Chardonnay for being too heavy: this wine will convince you otherwise. Try it with fresh seafood. Drink: 2014-2017. 991950 14% XD 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 91/100. August 15, 2014 Best Value White Wine. Scrumptious Seafood Wine Full Review
Kim Crawford Pansy! Rosé 2015, Hawkes Bay, North Island, New Zealand: Don't let the brilliant strawberry hue of this rosé fool you: this wine is bone dry and bursting with refreshment. Highly recommended. Drink: 2016-2017. 650325 13% XD 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 90/100. August 4, 2016 Best Value Rosé Wine. Sensational Shellfish Wine Full Review
