Don't let the brilliant strawberry hue of this rosé fool you: this wine is bone dry and bursting with refreshment. Aromas of tiny flavour-packed field berries and a lick of orange zest on the finish. Perfect as a chilled aperitif or pair it with seafood, shellfish, salads and more rosé, of course. Highly recommended.

Rosé food pairings: seafood, quiche, planked salmon, seared tuna.

Reviews and Ratings

Natalie MacLean rated this wine as 91/100
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The deep salmon colour leads you to anticipate a fruity wine. This it is, but not in a cloyingly sweet way. Aromas of strawberry and peach greet the nose and flavours of ripe berries fill the mouth. A great summer drinking wine, it will hold its own paired with grilled fish and seafood, or a goat cheese topped salad.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Wow, ripe strawberry with rhubarb and sage peeking out behind. The taste lines u nicely with the aroma. Lots of bright acidity and a great tart strawberry finish. air with bitter salads and balsamic vinegar or have as a patio sipper.
Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I first fell in love with Pansy! (yes, the exclamation mark is important in its pronunciation) years ago, and while the wine has changed over the vintages, it remains a solid rosé for summer sipping. The merlot grapes have imparted a dark pink colour to the wine, and it smells of the candy of my youth, Starburst to be exact, somewhere between strawberry and watermelon. Also a hint of bubble gum. It tastes of ripe strawberries and is a bit floral. The aftertaste has a hint of citrus. This wine is definitely full of surprises. Look for it each year around May in Vintages.

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Strawberry and stone fruit aromas with some crisp citrus notes appearing on the palate. Not sweet in any way but rather a crisp, well balanced wine that will pair well with salmon or even a summer chicken salad.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The colour of this rosé is so intense and attractive. Made from Merlot and Malbec grapes, the nose displays strawberry, cran-cherry, and pepper. Dry, and well structured. This rose has tannins, which isn't uncommon, but nice to see. A terrific wine to enjoy as an apertif, with spring salads, pan seared fish, Thanksgiving meals or simply enjoy on its own. 89 points. Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Beautiful cranberry color in the glass. Notes of sweet strawberries, raspberries. Lovely flavors of the ripe red fruit and delightful acidity. Perfect on its own or with light appetizers.
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of strawberry jam jump out of the glass. Although sweet on the nose, this wine is crisp and dry with flavours of strawberry, sage and citrus. A great wine to pair with cold seafood salad or shrimp.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Mild fresh strawberry nose, again on palate with slight herbal touches. Satiny, creamy texture and mild strawberry finish. Dry, refreshing, very summery.
