Santa Carolina Selection Gran Reserva Carmenère 2009, Rapel Valley, Chile: Vintages Wine Panel: Rich, dense Carmenère with aromas of cedar, blackberry, sweet blueberry and plum. The layers in this wine lap over one another with incredible voluptuousness. This wine is perfect for potluck gatherings or dinner parties. Louis Latour Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2007, Burgundy, France: Gorgeously tart cherries with redcurrant and cranberry notes. Silky smooth and seductively long. Amazing value for the price. Villa Girardi Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore 2011, Veneto D.O.C., Italy: A savory, meaty, juicy ripasso: a red wine to chew on with deep satisfaction. Cedar, chewy black cherry layers float happily on full-bodied weight. The Ripasso method takes leftover pomace from making Amarone wine and adds it to a Valpolicella wine to start a second fermentation and in doing so, adds alcohol, body, tannin and flavour to the final wine. Yes please! Drink: 2014-2018. 161844 13% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 90/100. March 1, 2014 Best Value Red Wine. Terrific Turkey Wine Full Review
Castello di Querceto Chianti Classico Riserva 2010, Tuscany D.O.C.G., Italy: Full-bodied and mouth-watering chianti, with black tart fruit, smoke, dried and earth aromas. This robust red wine is made from Sangiovese and offers mouth-watering juiciness and a satisfying finish. Drink: 2013-2017. 650754 13% XD 750 mL  $32.95 Score: 90/100. Mount Riley Pinot Noir 2012, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Perfect for planked salmon and grilled seafood on the barbecue! This is a vibrant, delightful pinot noir, especially at this price point! Very aromatic of exotic wild violets and lush cherries. Medium- to full-bodied, silky smooth and mouth-watering. Subtle and superbly crafted. Top me up! Drink: 2013-2017. 60137 13.50% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 91/100. July 5, 2014 Top Rated Red Wine. Scrumptious Seafood Wine Full Review

Rosenblum Cellars Zinfandel 2011, Paso Robles, California, United States: Full-bodied with rich dark fruit and a complex structure. Not as sweet as many zins: more concentrated and complex. This muscular Zinfandel reflects the warmth and richness of Paso Robles in southern California. Lots of bold black cherry, pepper and spice. Sourced from grapes grown in the warm foothills of the arid vineyards studded with oak trees. Drink: 2013-2016. 31781 14.90% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 90/100. December 6, 2014 Best Value Red Wine.
