Natalie's Score: 90/100

Full-bodied with rich dark fruit and a complex structure. Not as sweet as many zins: more concentrated and complex. This muscular Zinfandel reflects the warmth and richness of Paso Robles in southern California. Lots of bold black cherry, pepper and spice. Sourced from grapes grown in the warm foothills of the arid vineyards studded with oak trees.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A sweet and tangy Zin from the renowned Paso Robles region in California. The nose shows blueberry preserve, raspberry, and clove. Zippy, fruity, and loaded with pizzaz, this tangy Zin would be a great complement to any spicy asian dish or tangy BBQ fare. Tasted November 2014. 88 points. Matt Steeves - @QuercusVino
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Nov 22, 2014: Medium ruby/purple, initial nose of blueberry jam, dried cranberry and baking spice, afterwards picking up strawberry cotton candy with several hours of air.
Fruity, medium full body, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and spice with good balance. Good fruity party wine without too much sweetness or pair with BBQ fare. Drink short term.
Rosenblum has been making wine in California for more than 30 years. Their specialty is crafting Zinfandels from diverse terroirs in the state. - Community Wine Reviews
