Albarino - lemony/limey with a scent of honey
Chianti at 14 years. After hours in the kitchen making my first homemade spaghetti sauce, I talked my mom into letting me have half a glass of wine. My dining experience just HAD to be authentic.
While in South Africa, I was struck by oenophilia. Achef made for me a tasting menu. Each item paired with its own wine. The height of that enjoyment can't be surpassed, only longed for.
