Münsterer Im Pitterberg

Kruger-Rumpf Münsterer Im Pitterberg Riesling Kabinett 2016

Nahe Qualitätswein, Germany

Eamonn reviewed this wine:

Very pale lemon colour with green reflections in the glass. Initially, aromas are slightly shy and need a little bit of time to open. Ripe apple, nectarine and citrus zest with gestures of petrol like minerality, although quite subdued. Very juicy and mouthwatering on the palate bursting with ripe, sweet stone fruit and apple. Nicely balanced fresh lemon acidity cuts through the sweetness. A great wine for aromatic, slightly spicy curry based dishes.

Eamonn reviewed this wine:

Big and rich - ripe orchard fruit on the nose. Apricot, aromatic yellow apple, banana custard with hints of melon. Slightly warming mid palate. Medium + body with a pleasant seam of acidity. Good length and densely textured. Notes of apricot, tart apple and pithy citrus bitterness on the finish.

Thirty Bench Small Lot Rosé 2014

Beamsville Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada

Eamonn reviewed this wine:

Lovely deep pink hue in the glass. Medium + aromatic intensity with lots of field strawberry, raspberry, red apple and rose. The wine is dry with a deliciously creamy texture. Shows a nice integration of red fruit flavours with tart citrus and floral notes. A great Niagara rose for all occasions. Would pair nicely with wild salmon or bouillabaisse.

Santo Assyrtiko 2015

Santorini Pdo, Greece

Eamonn reviewed this wine:

Hailing from the windswept Greek island of Santorini, Assyrtiko is a white grape that thrives in volcanic soils. Prominent citrus notes are interlaced with delicate white floral aromas, flint and saline. The wine is dry with lots of bright acidity. Tangy lemon/lime flavours, bitter salted almond and green apple. Very refreshing - great beach wine. Calls for briny shellfish and lighter, simple fish dishes.

The Y Series

Yalumba The Y Series Viognier 2017

South Australia, Australia

Eamonn reviewed this wine:

Ripe tropical fruit and floral notes deliver in this South Australian Viognier. Pineapple, mango, juicy peach with bitter citrus zest - white grapefruit. Sweet floral notes of elderflower tie in nicely. Lots of acidity on the palate - the wine is dry. All the ripe, juicy fruit on the nose comes across underripe and tart on the palate. A wine very much geared toward the expression of fruit and primary aromas.
