Pure Vision Wines Zero Shiraz 2021

I don't have much experience with dealcoholized wines so I didn't know what to expect before trying this shiraz from Australia. However, I was genuinely surprised by the quality. It isn't the typical australia shiraz that you have in your mind, but instead it has bright red fruits, tart acid, and it is juicy and vibrant. It will probably taste better if serving chilled so If you are looking for a wine that has less than 0.5% ABV for your summer camping, this is the one!

This 'secret sauce' blend of St. Hugo is such a food friendly wine. It's aromatic, floral, and full of red fruits. I Pnp without any decanting, and the wine was juicy, medium+ acidity, soft tannin and the part I like the most is it didn't have too much alcohol burn on the finish. Definitely a wine that you can just open at any time of the day and start enjoying with your friends and families. I paired with some BBQ chicken wings and pepproni pizzas.

I have always liked St. Hugo wines even when they were just providing the fruits to Jacob's Creek in the early 2000s. This D3R is a big brother and has every St Hugo wine characteristics that I like in it. On the nose, it is very smoky, leafy, and full of ripe fruits. On the palate, powerful structure but not over ripe and with good acidity and long tannin. I let it opened up in the bottle for 3 hours before drinking, and it paired so well with somed grilled ribeye steak and watermelon salad!

I'm usually not a big fan of Rioja, but this is one of the best ones I've had at the $30 range. The wine is aromatic and full of pure black fruits. Complex palate, juicy, and excellent balance of acid and tannin. Let it open in the glass for 30min. It is drinking perfectly alone by itself!

Decanted for 2 hours and drank over 3 hours. In the beginning, the wine showed more herbal notes, eucalyptus, and very grippy rustic tannin on the finish. At the 2 hour mark, it started to show dark chocolate, mocha, tobacco profiles. It's rich but not overly sweet. Very good structure, complex, and the tannin was fully integrated by the 4th hour.
