Sancerre...Loire Valley.... France. You need to feel the Atlantic breeze between your hair and warm sunshine, before you try Sancerre, absolutely gorgeous wine. Look at the glass - delicate pale lemon color with lime, grapefruit and green apple aroma. First sip and you feel this expressive, citrus - grassy, juicy taste in your palate. Elegant body of this wine goes well with high, crisp acidity and %12 of alcohol. This dry wine will give you a charming finish of freshness and complexity in your aftertaste palate. Enjoy.

I love red wine with sea food, I know it is against the nature and food and wine pairing, but.....I had a bottle of Pinot Noir Stoller Vineyards 2012, Oregon and I got for a take out Ahi Tuna with Salt and Cayenne pepper. Omg.... The wine was dark, garnet color. Aroma of barrel spices like clove and cinnamon along with ripe black cherry. On a palate wine was jammy, mouthful sensation of ripe raspberries and lively acidity. Salt in Ahi Tune round up the tannin and peppery taste calm down fruitiness in wine. It was actually a good balance of fruits and spice after all. I would like to say, try and experiment new things, you would never know what can catch your taste. E.B.

Beautiful Friday night, I was craving for Chablis and oysters. Fairmont Pacific Rim Lounge, Vancouver, sounds really good. On the wine list, my dreamed Chablis $18 glass. Food menu, spotted my favorite Kusshi oysters. Delicate wine with citrus aroma of lemon peel, grapefruit and yellow apple. First sip of Chablis, and this zesty acidity will make your mouth watering, extra dry wine with bright minerality. On the palate...has some tangy fruits like peach, apple along with citrus notes of lime and tangerine, very good example of Chablis for this price. This wine has refreshing tingly finish. Did you know why Chablis and oysters the best match? Millions years ago, Chablis region was an ocean floor with may different sea fossils. Since than, Kimmeridgian Chablis soil is blessed with minerality, which gives Chardonnay grapes its signature notes. Cheers,

Great wine for cold, rainy day. It was one of this rainy days in Vancouver. I urgently needed a warm, savoury wine to cheer me up. Portugal was perfect for it. Douro is always best value for a great price, win win. I bought Porca de Murca Douro, Tinto 2013 for $15, isn't it great? Can't wait to open and enjoy it. Wow, I looked at the color in the glass...attractive garnet with hint of spice and ripe cheery flavors made me smile. It was exactly what I was looking for. Velvety texture of this wine, covered my mouth and juicy sensation brought up even more fresh red fruits and complexity. Medium tannin feel a little bit out of balance with 13% of alcohol, but cleansing acidity balanced it up in the finish. Simple, affordable and good balanced. Definitely drink now. Cheers.

I like Soave, light bodied with peachy, lemony palate. I can only say, goat cheese ravioli with Soave on a patio was absolutely amazing. Before you would take a bottle of Italian wine, you need to think about country itself. Italy build their food to match the wine. Overall, Soave is willing to age and age beautifully, this Soave is young, clean and bright .... Please enjoy it with food like clams risotto, seafood linguini or beer carpaccio with balsamic dressing.
