Big, bold, powerful warm climate Auzzie Shiraz. Plum, cigar-box and tobacco, still (2020) high acid, firm tannins, high alcohol (!), and a long, complex, peppery finish. Really well integrated, and still very fresh. This will still be solid for at least another 5 years. A beautifully-made wine for those who like big, dark, powerful wines. Had this with medium rare prime rib, and Yorkshire pudding with gravy - a wonderful pairing. Memorable!

Even now, at 12 years, this is still a powerful, big cabernet, with dark fruit, mellowed somewhat, but still with big tannins and a long, complex finish. It opened up considerably over the 3-4 hours that we enjoyed it. In my opinion, it will still be very nice for another 5, to even 10 years, depending on storage. This was a beautiful wine - memorable!

2009 - opened 2019, and poured 1 1/2 hrs before tasting. A big, complex wine, that is wonderfully integrated. Big alcohol, firm tannins, still fresh acidity, and lots of inky dark fruit in a silky smooth wine. Wonderful! I concur on the 93.

Unique pink ice wine made from Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, Merlot and (!) Pinot Noir. Like drinking crushed strawberry jam. Sweet, smooth, long finish with vanilla and lots of fresh fruit. Combined with beautiful clear pink colour, full nose and complexity, wish I could get another bottle! (mine was a gift)

Drinking the 2017 - only 8.5% abv. Beautiful balance of fresh acidity, off-dry, fruity and floral. Very refreshing. Evolving finish as it opens up. This will easily evolve another 10 years. Lovely wine!
