Pam scored this wine: 85/100

Light crisp pale yellow sparkling wine. Nose of lemon and a touch of white fruit and almonds. Light body with light bubbles that cleanse the palate. Citrus and apple on the palate. Short and dry finish. Aperitif bubbles to pair with nibbles, seafood, Asian style food.

Pam scored this wine: 90/100

Light translucent ruby red in the glass. Nose of cherry, red fruit, vanilla and with a bit of earth. The same delivers on the palate. Light bodied with a medium finish. Very good value for Pinot Noir at this price.

Yellow Tail Rosé 2008

Pam scored this wine: 85/100

Salmon pink colour with lifted aromas of strawberries, cherry and cotton candy. Expectations from this brand were exceeded! The fresh fruit on the palate revealed Sweetish entry on the palate with lots of berry fruit, balanced acidity and a medium-short finish. It’s rather juicy and definitely a crowd pleaser. A happy aperitif that delivered a wine that would match well with apéro, charcuterie boards and fowl. Good value. I

Château La Vieille Cure 2011

Fronsac, Bordeaux A.C., France

Pam scored this wine: 95/100

Classic Bordeaux nose of opulent red and black fruit. Plum, cassis, dark cherry and blackberries are silky on the palate with fine tannins. Hints of vanilla and tobacco emerge. This wine is elegant with subtle complexity revealing with every swirl. Lovely and lively long finish with balanced acidity and fruit. Suggest giving this even more ageing in the cellar as this 12 year old Bordeaux still seems a little young.

Pam scored this wine: 89/100

Deep bread and the glass with layers of cherry, Black Forest cake, blackberries and cassis. Some smoke and spice as you swirl the glass around. His medium body on the palate where all these dark fruits come through. Quite concentrated with balanced acidity and soft tannins. Typical California cab with a bit of sweetness. Would be lovely with a roast beef dinner or gourmet burgers.
