Dark fruit, pepper and cedar forest pls on the nose. Full-bodied and fairly smooth but it will help to decant 2 hours. Terrific price for this savoury, full-bodied red.

Reviews and Ratings

Cherie Cole rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Full-bodied, grippy tannins with ripe plum, oak, vanilla and black pepper notes. Long, peppery finish. Great wine to pair with braised meat or game. Tasted November 27, 2016.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Nice dark fruit and pepper on the nose. Smooth, medium + body, nice acidity balances flavours. Slightly savoury, would be lovely with charcuterie and cheese.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Very fruity on the nose with aromas of raspberry, chocolate and tobacco. On the palette, forward fruit with moderate to strong tannins with a peppery finish. Pair with beef dishes, dessert such as dark chocolate or dark fruits, or a meat and cheese board that includes mild peppercorn salami and old cheeses.
