Nestled under the watchful eye of Napier Hill, in Pandora lies the home of Ka Tahi Wines. We have a commitment to crafting great wine for you. Wines to celebrate Our state-of-the-art technology and winemaking facilities are located at the Hawke’s Bay Wine Company in Pandora, Napier.

We feel blessed to have someone as passionate and experienced as Rod McDonald as our winemaker.

After spending several years making wine for Hawke’s Bay leading wineries, Rod was crowned New Zealand Winemaker of the year in 2006. Rod is the current Chairman at the Hawke’s Bay A & P Wine Awards, a Senior Judge at the New Zealand International Wineshow and spent six years as Chairman of the Hawke’s Bay Winegrowers Association, helping establish it as one of the great winegrowing regions of the world. Quite simply put, Rod loves making wine and he’s pretty good at it too!
