Wakefield Jaraman 2019 Shiraz is sooo good! Deep dark ruby glass, the Jaraman is a smoky, full-bodied Shiraz produced from a blend of 70% Clare Valley grapes with the balance sourced from the McLaren Vale. The wine was matured in American oak casks. Look for smoky, spicy dark cherry, dark berry compote and pepper spice flavours on this South Australia beauty. Pour with grilled meats.

Shiraz food pairings: juicy, grilled rare sirloin steak, hard cheese like Cheddar or Havarti.

Reviews and Ratings

Bernard rated this wine as 94/100
From Wakefield, Jaraman 2019 Shiraz is delicious. For this vintage, 72% of the grapes were sourced from Clare Valley with the balance from the McLaren Vale. This Shiraz delivers with a mouthful of juicy dark cherry, cracked pepper and savoury herb flavours on the palate. So good now. Pour with steaks from the grill. - Community Wine Reviews
