Grassy, herbal, nettle and gooseberry: very much in the style of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Good acidic attack on entry. Needs food like spinach quiche.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a VQA Niagara that tastes like I'm sipping on a patio in Christchurch, NZ. Very reminiscent of great Sauvignon Blanc from NZ. This light-bodied white wine is pale lemon-green in colour with intense grass, gooseberry and fresh herbs nose. Mouthwatering acidity does a terrific job to open up the taste buds for food...or more wine! Flavours include canned peas, fresh grass, citrus, white blossoms, and stony minerality. A very nice Ontario Savvy B. Can't beat the price. Buy a case. Perfect salad wine.

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A Niagara Escarpment VQA Sauv Blanc with ripe pineapple aromas and a palate showing lemon, grassy notes and light tropical fruit. Dry with bright acidity and a long grassy finish.
