A light, crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc. Its ripe lemony citrus and melon flavours are well balanced by a laser-focused acidity; joined on the finish by a bright minerality. During the mid-winter blahs, this wine brings a taste of summer sunshine back to the table. A refreshing and invigorating white with lovely notes of lime and chives. Terrific mouth-watering acidity makes it a great partner for many dishes.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: sautéed shrimps in a butter sauce.

Winemaker Brian Schmidt calls his approach to winemaking a “minimalist” one. He allows each variety to express its place of origin with as little tinkering as possible in the cellar. Here the result is a light, crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc. Expect well-balanced lemony citrus and melon flavours with a laser-focused acidity, and striking minerality. This is a wine that brings a glimpse of summer sunshine back to the table. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
