Mocha and sweet chocolate and coffee-espresso on the nose from lavish oak aging. Black fruit on the palate of this Italian red wine. Full-bodied and smooth and delicious. This wine previously won a Gold Medal at the Sélections Mondiales des Vins in Montreal. Try with hamburgers and all the fixins. The Umberto Cesari winery celebrates its 5-year anniversary in 2016 for being named Italian Winery of the Year at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in London. Pair this wine with a hearty Bolognese sauce.

Sangiovese Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled New York strip loin, hamburger, hard cheese, barbecued pork spareribs, grilled lamb chops.

This sangiovese/cabernet sauvignon mix is medium weight, somewhat lively on the palate. Clean and smooth. There is a hint of sourness on the finish.
