Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This one has loads of black and red fruit. It was fermented in temperature controlled roto-fermentation tanks. All this helps preserve the purity of the fruit flavours of Barossa Shiraz. It saw a moderate 12 months in French oak.
It's concentrated and pure tasting. Bold, but with very pretty aromatics that blend typical Shiraz spiciness (pepper and eucalyptus). It's by no means overoaked, but I really loved the balance of it. Remarkable, for an under $20 selection.
This producer makes some great value wines that over deliver for what you pay (usually >$25.00). They also have a Bordelais blend with Shiraz tossed in, called Shotfire Quartage. It's also pretty terrific.
Perry rated this wine as 87/100
Fantastic value on this South Australia Shiraz from Thorn-Clarke. Terra Barossa (2015) is earthy, dark, rich and dense with lush blackberry and plum fruit finishing with liquorice spice -- a classic from Barossa. - Community Wine Reviews
