Robust with lots of toasty oak and cigar box with some golden apple on the palate. Smoky with campfire and hickory smoke on the nose. Full-bodied and smooth with more smoke from toasty oak aging on the palate. Baked apple on the finish. Pair with smoked turkey.

Chardonnay food pairings: linguine with clams and fennel, stuffed roasted turkey, Asian dishes, grilled seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Rich and full-bodied California sunshine in a bottle. Nutty and buttery with toasted oak, warm spices, tropical and tree fruit. This is surely a Chardonnay lovers Chardonnay. Sorry to those ABC subscribers but this California Chard won't further your cause. Silky smooth and perhaps a little oily. Yummy! Pair with your favourite seafood and shellfish. Full-bodied with good amount of cleansing acidity. Value!
