Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Shows a beautiful nose with tropical ripe pineapple, slight lemon, toast and subtle oak. The palate augments the toast and lemon with a hint of smoke. Elegant, satiny, well-integrated mouthfeel and a long rich finish. Another glass, please.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A brilliant deep lemon in the glass and intense aromas consisting of floral, stone fruit, tropical, smoke, toast and butter. This full-bodied Napa Chardonnay has medium(+) cleansing acidity and the aromas are repeated on the palate with the addition of warm spices. The finish is long and smokin'! Very enjoyable indeed. Perfect roasted chicken wine.
Tasted: October 2015
This Californian white wine was aged generously in oak barrels thus imparting a distinctive smoky character. Some buttery notes on the finish of this full-bodied Chardonnay. - Community Wine Reviews
