Reviews and Ratings

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Alex: High toned tomato leaf and green pepper on the nose, followed up by chocolate covered black plums and raspberries. Dense, pie-like fruit on the palate, vanilla and a supple texture, moderate acidity, balanced alcohol and chewy tannin. Good!

Carmenère is one of Chile's signature red wine grapes. The Ammonite featured on the wine label (seashell) appeared 400 million years ago and has been extinct for 65 million years. The fossils of this sea creature abound in the higher Andes Mountains where the irrigation for these vineyards originates. - Community Wine Reviews
