This Niagara red wine called "The Magician" is a blend of 70% shiraz and 30% pinot noir grapes that are kiln-dried before they're pressed to deepen the wine's flavours. A full-bodied, smooth, supple red wine with attractive aromas of blackcurrant and cassis. Some anise and smoke on the finish. Pair with hearty meat dishes.

Shiraz Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled flat iron steak, beef rib eye roast, venison tenderloin.

Beautiful ripe red fruit, jammy black plum, cracked black pepper. Full-bodied, well balanced acidity, alcohol and fruit. Pairs well with gourmet blue cheese topped burgers. 90 points. Tasted the 2013 Shiraz after decanting 2h in July 2017. BespokeTastings
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This full bodied red is blend of Shiraz (70%) and Pinot Noir (30%) - Flavors of intensely jammy dark fruit, violet, black pepper, cassis and chocolate. Beautiful smokiness coming through on the finish. Perfect with juicy beef burgers topped cheese and bacon fresh off the grill.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ripe berry, jammy plum, floral, and freshly cracked black pepper overload! A sensual, mouthwatering, full-bodied red with a smooth texture and long allspice-berry finish. Enjoy with mint and citrus marinaded lamb kebob. Tasted July 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
