Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The winemaking team at Pearl Morissette foster a culture of non-conformity that drives the daily passion at the winery.
This is one sexy Chardonnay! Memories of caramel apples, with aromas of toffee and sweet apples, with a salted caramel flavour, and a wonderful hit of crisp green apple mid-palate, and a lingering finish.
Perfect with baked ham or barbecued salmon.
Tasted at Taste Ontario Ottawa, March 29, 2017.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This Chardonnay appears to be evolving (which it should!), comparing my tasting notes with Natalie's. Tasted March 2017, it is dry, quite full-bodied with very nutty (hazelnut) and meyer lemon aromas and flavours and a soft mouthfeel, although zesty enough. Enjoyable now and for another year or so.
Pearl Morissette Dix-Neuvième 2012 is a full-bodied Chardonnay with a citrus, apple, lemon curd nose, and more citrus, tropical fruit and some spiciness on the palate. Good acidity, but the wine needs some time to come together. Pair with grilled chicken. -Community Wine Reviews
