A zesty, mouth-watering New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with classic aromas of gooseberry, nettle and guava, with some herbal notes on the finish. Medium-bodied with terrific acidity for a wide range of dishes, from fresh seafood to spinach quiche.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A beautifully aromatic Marlborough Sauv Blanc with tropical fruit and citrus on the nose. The palate shows ripe gooseberries, guava, slight minerality and lemon. Crisp acidity and lingering ripe lemons on the finish. Stainless steel fermentation and a short period of lees contact to maximize bright fuit flavours.
This is Australia's #1 selling white wine and I can certainly see why.

Shelley Harris rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A bright-tasting Sauvignon Blanc with aromas of tropical fruit, lime and grassiness. Paired with an appetizer of shrimp and goat cheese quesadillas. Lovely start to a meal.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a classic Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Crisp, clean, refreshing. Pale lemon green colour with signature aromatics of lemon, lime zest, grass, green apple, stony minerality, catty. Light-bodied. I detected a slight effervescence. Sauvignon Blanc is paired nicely with salads and light enough to be enjoyed on it's own. Excellent value everyday white. $2.00 off for a limited time. Fun fact: Oyster Bay Savvy B is the #1 selling wine in Australia!

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc never disappoints! Sparkles like silver in the glass, and smells like a fresh spring day: cut grass... with a hint of the gas lawn mower that cut it! (for Sauvignon Blanc lovers, that tends to be a good thing). Lemon-lime flavors, and a hint of acidity that makes it pair perfectly with soft cheeses, creamy dishes or seafood.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This flavourful New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is actually Australia's number one selling wine! That's right, Australia's #1 selling wine is a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Enough said. Year after year, Oyster Bay produces a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc that the world has come to know and enjoy. The 2014 is chalked-full of exotic fruit, grassy herbal notes, with crisp minerality. Mouthwatering, this refreshing wine would complement salads with goat cheese and tangy dressings, or try with spicy Asian cuisine. Tasted November 3, 2014. 88 points.
