Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A fan favorite every year, this sauvignon blanc from New Zealand has typical gooseberry, ripe peach, and apple blossoms. Fine spritz on the palate with lemon and pink grapefruit. Pretty sipper to start off a meal with your salad course.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Crisp aromas of gooseberry and grass. The palate offers a very acidic lift of lemon and a bit of stone fruit.
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pronounced nose that hits you before the nose reaches the glass: gooseberry, ripe melon, wet grass, passion fruit, mango, lime juice, touch of green vegetal (asparagus).

There's so much fruit on the nose some might be surprised to find this dry, the medium+ acid holds all together fairly well. Flavours of quince, gooseberry, passion fruit, melon, pear and white grapefruit. Medium+ finish.

One of the poster children for that intense style of Kiwi SB. This is a great summer patio wine.

Tasted November 2016.
Dianne Sheridan - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with flavours of lime, kiwi, lemon, melon, grapefruit and gooseberry. On the nose it is grassy with hints of vegetal nuances. It is clean, fresh crisp, fruity with good acidity.

Can be served on its own or paired with fish, oysters, sushi and asparagus.
Mike Benson rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

A crisp and refreshing NZ SB, if not a touch too sweet. Aromas of gooseberry, pineapple, and a hint of lime. The palate has tropical fruits, with some grapefruit, and there's a medium finish.
Lisa rated this wine as 40/100
