So dependably fresh and crisp every year: this is a classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc! Lovely zesty notes of limes, chives, and gooseberry. Perfect for vegetarian pizza or quiche.

Reviews and Ratings

Kevin rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Like NZ Sav Blanc? This wine delivers that typical fresh lime acidity of good Kiwi Sav Blancs but at half the price. Extraordinarily good value for a wine that delivers gooseberry flavours and aromas of wines that are twice the price. Fresh crisp acidity make this a delicious summer tipple.
Ryan Hindmarsh rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Kiwis have perfected this grape. Be sure this is cold when you serve it or Dad won’t think its sweet enough. This goes perfect with a well-salted asparagus side dish, those hideous purple napkins Mom pulls out, and a game of Catch Phrase.
The philosophy of Oyster Bay is to produce fi ne, distinctly regional wines that are elegant
and assertive with glorious fruit fl avours. It all starts in the vineyard. We treat each vineyard
block and parcel of wine individually. The fruit is crushed, gently pressed and the juice
is cold settled. A long, slow temperature controlled fermentation and immediate bottling
after winemaking, retains all the wonderful fruit fl avours and aromas that are present.
Pale straw green in colour with brilliant clarity, Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
is zesty and aromatic with lots of lively fruit characters. A concentration of assertive passionfruit
and tropical fruit fl avours with an abundant bouquet, it is a wine that is always crisp, elegant
and refreshing.
