Floral and lovely on the nose, more robust on the palate with field berry notes and a terrific mouth-watering acidity.

Rosé food pairings: grilled white fish, pork chops, chicken paella on a sun-dried tomato pureé, summer salads.

Reviews and Ratings

Travis Oke rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is by far the best rosé / rosado imported into Ontario. I wait for it's release every Spring and then buy enough to get me through the summer. Dry enough to hold its own at a BBQ it is a great refreshing summer wine with grapefruit overtones and a lovely salmon colour.
Drink Wine and Giggle Gals rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The Drink Wine and Giggle Gals are lucky enough to have saved a bottle of Muga Rose from last summer so that when we hit the wall on winter we can get a head start on spring. Lynne and Julie like to turn up the fireplace and the salsa music, put on our rose-coloured bikinis and pretend we're on the beach with a glass of Muga. Deb is still golfing in Charleston, so she doesn't need to do any spring role play with rose.
Keep an eye on LCBO inventory levels so you can be sure to stock up for next March and don't be surprised when the cashier congratulates you on your good taste...
Rioja is the rare example of a European wine region that permits the addition of white wines (Viura in this case) to their rosés. This wine blends 60% Garnacha, 30% Viura and 10% Tempranillo. Light Day-Glo pink with aromas of pear, mineral, grapefruit and cherry. Dry, delicate and very refreshing with lovely pear and grapefruit replays. Cleansing sipper that is also very food-flexible Source: Vintages Wine Panel
