Another terrific southern French wine from the master winemaker Chapoutier. This is a robust white wine blend of 60% Grenache Blanc, 20% Macabeu, 10% Marsanne and the remainder Vermentino grapes. The grapes for the 2015 vintage of the Cotes du Roussillon les Vignes de Bila Haut Blanc were picked from September 1-15 and fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness. Aromas of white peach and orchard fruit. Terrific acidity or seafood. Medium-bodied. Terrific!

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Buy a case of this wine for the rest of Summer and you will not be disappointed. This wine shows lovely aromas and flavours of stone fruit, pressed white flowers, citrus peel, and a slight hint of quince. A lovely offering that's not trying to over-do it. The mouthwatering acidity has it pairing well with fresh or salt-water fishes or summer salads. 89 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
