From Côtes Du Roussillon, Midi wine region, Les Vignes De Bila-Haut is produced by M. Chapoutier. This is a full-bodied white wine blend of mostly white Grenache with a smattering of Muscat, Grenache Gris, and Vermentino to round it all off. Dry, smooth and rich with ripe stone fruit, citrus zest, honeyed florals, anise and mineral flavours on the palate. So much happening here and just great value under $16.

Blanc food pairings: oysters Rockefeller, seafood ceviche, whitefish and potato saffron cakes.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Blended from Grenache blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, and Macabeu. Aromas of white grapefruit and fresh lemon, lemon zest, white pepper and wet concrete stone. Medium bodied with bright acidity, and notes of stone fruit and citrus along with more pepper and wet stone hints. Enjoy with any citrus seasoned white fish. Great value wine.
