There's nothing like Australian Semillon grape-based wines: you must try this one if you haven't sampled their delights previously. Semillon from Australia also differs vastly from Semillon in other regions of the world: here it has a complex beeswax, dry honey and lanolin bouquet and mouth-filling texture. Terrific balancing acidity for a wide range of dishes and a long finish to make you return to this bottle again and again.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Beautiful candied citrus notes, lanolin, fresh cut straw, and golden delicious apple. Everything you want in an aged Semillon. This could age forever in bottle. Drink now through 2025. 93 points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Bright yellow in the glass with athe nose showing petrol, mineral, citrus and beeswax. On the palate, even at 9yrs this is fresh and lively with spritz on the tongue. Citrus lemon, apple and white honey/beeswax and mineral flavours on a lightish body, with good length. Very classy wine. Drink now and over the next 5+ years. Tasted May, 2015
This wine won the gold medal in both the Sydney Royal Wine Show and the Rutherglen Wine Show in 2007. - Winery
