Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

After returning from a trip to California, I found myself trying and drinking a lot of Californian wines. I really loved this one and found it great value. Under $20, it's a beautiful purple color when you pour it in the glass. On the nose there are aromas of blackberry, common with Cab Sauv and spices. I definitely detected cloves, which has a very unique smell. On the palate lots of fruit flavours and a toasted oak flavour with a nice finish
A real crowd-pleaser with plenty of raspberry, blueberry, cherry and spice aromas and flavours. Round and fruity with just a hint of tannin and fresh acidity to give it structure. This one is great for the various finger foods served at a party. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
