Reviews and Ratings

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Black fruit and smoke on the nose. The palate offers ripe plum and some mocha notes on the finish.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2013 vintage of McManis Cabernet Sauvignon shows as a deep ruby red and ripe red berries and cassis on the nose with a hint of herb. On the palate this gem shows ripe red berries and a juicy jammy mouthfeel. Medium plus body, medium acidity and medium tannins. Persistence of ripe strawberry and a hint of vanilla and cocoa with a medium finish. This wine is well structured and ready for enjoyment.
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby, intense nose is a little grapey with field berry and cedar, baking spice and vanilla. Medium bodied, soft and round on the palate with some tart cherry/berry and cedar. This is an easy drinking, crowd pleasing wine without being overly sweet and confected - great for BBQ season. Tasted April 2015
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Interesting complexity of ripe black fruit, dark chocolate, earthy notes and hints of dried herbs. Medium acidity, light smooth tannins and medium long puckering plum finish. Pretty good value BBQ wine!
