Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Rich, complex, ripe black fruit, mocha and spice notes calling for more and more. The palate shows long lasting black fruit, spice, and tobacco flavours with young developing tannins, balanced acidity and a moderate perception of alcohol. Enjoy this full-bodied red with an oven-roasted prime rib. Tasted Jan 2017 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Simon Chen rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Tasted at Gambero Rosso tasting 2017 in Toronto - Another good typical Amarone but nothing too stand out. Very pleasant dry fruit, dry cherry aromas. Rich, lush on the palate but lack the depth and finish that I was hoping for.
Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico from Masi Costasera Riserva (2011) is full-bodied and muscular with incredible black cherry, dried fruit, spice cake, cherry tobacco nose and flavours. So much to offer in this wine from Italy's Veneto wine grape growing region. - Community Wine Reviews
