An intriguing and rich white wine with layers of flavour and complexity, especially for this price. This is a Niagara white wine blend of Riesling and Savignon Blanc. It's aromatic offering notes of white florals and fresh pear with smoke. Made by a much respected producer operating in a gravity-flow winery and farming sustainably.

Food pairings: poultry, white fish, oysters and other seafood, foie gras, spicy Asian dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Gwen Barton rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dry, light and crisp. Simple and refreshing with notes of pear, green apple and stone. Great value wine for summer entertaining. Ready to drink on its own or pair with bruschetta, parmesan and baguette. Tasted April 2019.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This interesting wine is comprised of 80% Riesling and 20% Sauvignon Blanc blended after fermentation. Pale straw yellow with some petrol and citrus on the nose. Lemon flavours and some acidity from the Sauv. Blanc are evident. Light body with medium citrus finish. Tasted March 20, 2017.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A fun and easy-going white blend from a well-respected Ontario producer. Hint of candy floss off the top, soft, refreshing citrus, grapefruit, nice dry dusty/chalky mouthfeel. Pair with summer salads and light fare.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Lime, green apple, ripe pineapple and a small tartness of gooseberry on the nose. There are also a few mineral notes of flint and light smoke. Hint of beeswax. The lime, tart pineapple and green apple flavours also continue in the overall flavour and finish with pear notes persisting. It's dry, light bodied and high in acidity making it light, crisp and zesty. The tart pineapple flavours really come through!
